Note
The application fee for UPSC Civil Services Exam 2026 can be paid online through Debit Card, Credit Card, UPI, Net Banking, or offline by cash at any SBI Branch.
As per the official UPSC rules, female candidates and those belonging to SC, ST, or PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disability) categories are exempted from paying the application fee.
All other candidates (General, OBC, and EWS male candidates) must pay a fee of ₹100 only.
The UPSC CSE 2026 Application Fee remains the same as the previous year’s structure and is non-refundable.
Candidates choosing the Pay by Cash mode must generate a Pay-in Slip before the deadline and deposit the fee at an SBI branch within working hours.

Education Qualification

1. For All Civil Services (IAS, IPS, IFS & Other Group A/B Posts)
To apply for the UPSC Civil Services Exam 2026, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or an equivalent qualification approved by the Government of India.
2. Eligibility for Final Year Students
Final-year or last-semester students of graduation are also eligible to apply for the UPSC Preliminary Examination 2026. However, they must produce proof of passing their degree before appearing in the Main Examination (Mains) stage.
3. Professional / Technical Degree Holders
Candidates possessing professional or technical degrees such as MBBS, BE, B.Tech, B.Sc (Engineering), or any equivalent degree recognized by the Government of India are eligible to appear in the examination. Candidates from medical backgrounds (like MBBS/BDS) who have not completed their internship may also apply — but they must submit proof of course completion and internship before the Interview/Personality Test.
4. Deemed / Recognized Universities
The degree must be from a University or Institution established by a Central or State Legislature or declared as a Deemed University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956. Degrees awarded by foreign universities that are recognized by the Government of India are also accepted.

Registration (Part-I)
Complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) process by entering your basic details such as Name, Date of Birth, Email ID, and Mobile Number. After successful registration, a unique Registration ID will be generated. Keep it safe for future use.

Login using your Registration ID and fill in all required details like category, educational qualification, exam centre preference, and personal details. Upload your photograph and signature as per UPSC specifications, and verify all information carefully before submission.
